Charlie Worsham to celebrate fifth anniversary of “Every Damn Monday” concert series with special live stream performance
In 2018 Rolling Stone stated that artists like Charlie Worsham, with his Every Damn Mondayresidency at the Basement East, “[prove] why Nashville is the most vibrant hub in the U.S.” Now Worsham is celebrating his fifth year of the fundraising concert series, pandemic-style. On November 18 at 9:00pm/8:00c, the critically acclaimed recording artist, singer / songwriter and musician will stream Every Damn Five Years live from the Brooklyn Bowl. Special guests include Devin Dawson, Morgan Evans, Jillian Jacqueline, Wendy Moten, Ketch Secor, Tenille Townes, Molly Tuttle and more. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Worsham’s own Follow Your Heart Scholarship Fund (tickets HERE). “2020 marks what would’ve been five years of summer Mondays sweating, singing and strumming my way through favorite songs with favorite people,” Worsham said. “The pandemic may have kept us from celebrating Every Damn Monday as usual, but I couldn’t let the clock run out without celebrating five years of my favorite Nashville tradition!” Worsham hasn’t let the year’s events stop him from sharing his love for music. In July he launched the “Air Castle Community Hour,” a monthly show on WSM radio, home to the Grand Ole Opry, celebrating the diverse community of creative spirits that reside in the 615. He continues to broadcast the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm/6:00c. This year Worsham has collected two major nominations for ACM Awards Specialty Instrument Player of the Year and, for his version of The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends” (watch HERE), CMT Awards Quarantine Video of the Year. Fans can keep an ear out for new music in 2021.
